Normally, you can open the Menu Screen by pressing the &127; button. From there you can select the ‘File’ option, and simply follow the directions to save.
However, when you are in a town or a dungeon, you can only save at designated Memory Cube areas. Without a Cube, you cannot save !

Fearlessly stand inside of the Cube’s area and calmy and composedly open up the Menu Screen ! From there you will be able to save into a memory file as per normal.
Especially in dungeons and other like areas, as soon as you see one of these, you should save without hesitation. You never can tell what may happen next !
When outside on the World Map, you can save anywhere you like (…probably) !
If you don’t want to wind up crying later, make sure you save frequently, okay ! ?

As you already know, there are 3 srength levels for the ordinary Attack option :
Weak Attack ( D button)
Strong Attack ( ‚ button ) and
Fierce Attack ( X button ).
‘Deathblow Skills’ are special chains of Attacks that first use some Weak or Strong blows to knock down your foe off balance and then end up with a Fierce blow to do some major damage !
But first you must master the use of Weak, Strong and Fierce Attacks in order to become able to learn such ‘Deathblow Skills’.
To master these Attacks, you should keep trying to say four Weak blows in a row, or two strong blows, or even a Fierce blow accompanied by another type of blow.
In other words, the way to learn naw ‘Deathblow Skills’ is through the frequent use of various combinations of the three basic Attacks !
So, whatcha’ think ?
Doesn’t it just make ya want to go out there now and start learning those ‘Deathblow Skill’ as soon as possible ! ?
Comme tu le sais déjà, il y a trois niveaux de force lors d’une simple attaque :
Attaque Faible ( D bouton)
Attaque Forte ( ‚ bouton ) et
Attaque Féroce ( X bouton ).
Les ‘Coups mortels’ sont une suite d’Attaques qui utilisent d’abord des coups Faibles ou Forts afin d’assomer ton ennemi pour le finir avec une Attaque Féroce qui lui causera des dommages importants !
Mais tout d’abord, tu dois maîtriser l’utilisation des Attaques, Faibles, Fortes, et Féroces afin d’être capable d’apprendre de tels ‘Coups Mortels’.
Pour maîtriser ces Attaques, tu dois essayer d’effectuer quatre coups Faibles plusieurs fois à la suite, deux coups Forts ou même un coup Féroce accompagnié d’un autre coup.
En d’autres termes, la façon d’apprendre de nouveaux ‘Coups mortels’ réside dans l’utilisation continue des trois différentes téchniques d’Attaque.
Alors, qu’est-ce t’en penses ?
Ca ne te donne pas envie de sortir et de t’exercer immédiatemment pour apprendre ces ‘Coups Mortels’ ! ?

If one of the Deathblows just doesn’t seem to be increasing, then you’re probably using the wrong type of Attack buttons.
In that case, it might be best to try those Attacks you normally haven’t been using. So experiement with different attack patterns !
But remember this… ! Some ‘Deathblow Skills’ cannot be obtained until you have reached a certain level of experience !
If you have not attained that experience level, then it won’t matter even if the Deathblow’s meter has reached 100%… !
In that case, you will have to wait until your level of experience increases before you will be able to learn to use that Deathblow !
…And that’s about it.
If you keep up in your studies, you’re bound to go far !
Dans ce sous menu, tu vas sur l’option ‘Skills’ pour voir la liste de tes Coups Mortels et la barre de pourcentage de chaque coups.
Si un coups mortel ne semble pas augmenter, c’est que tu utilises sûrement la mauvaise combinaison d’Attaque. Dans ce cas, il serait sage d’essayer les combinaisons que tu n’as pas encore essayés, et ainsi tester de nouvelles formes d’Attaques.
Mais souviens toi de çà… ! Certains coups mortels ne peuvent etre obtenus si tu n'as pas atteind un certain niveau!
Si tu n'as pas atteind ce niveau, alors cela n'importeras pas que la barre d'apprentissage d'un 'Coup Mortel' ait atteind 100%... !
Dans ce cas, tu devras attendre que ton niveau augmente avant de pouvoir apprendre a utiliser ce 'Coup Mortel' !
...C'est a peu pres tout.

During battle, there are two groups of commands you can choose from. You can toggle between groups with le left & right Directional buttons.
The first group includes the most frequently used Attack, Defense, and Chi options.
The second group contains special commands such as Combo, Escape and so forth.
You fight by skillfully selecting from the two groups of options the action that best suits your circumstances.
Normally, you should be able to get by with just using the first group of options. The item option is in both sets, so you don’t have to switch groups to use items.

Quand tu es bléssé, c’est une bonne chose que de laisser les autres membres de ton équipe attaquer et ensuite te défendre des attaques ennemies.

There are three kinds of attacks – Weak, Strong and Fierce – each using up a set of amount of Action Point when performed.
When all your Action Points are used up, your turn will end. Conversely, as long as you have Action Points left, you may continue to attack.
In other words, Action points represent how many attacks you can perform in one turn of combat.
In the beginning, you will only start out with 3 Action Points. However, as you increase in level, your Action Points will increase accordingly. The secret in puting up a good fight lies in how you utilize your Action points – what strengths of attacks you use, and in what order you dish them out in… !
Well, that’s it in a nutshell. Oh, and don’t hesitate to ask if you have any other queries !

Le secret d’un bon combat réside dans la façon dont tu utilises tes Points Actions – quelles forces d’attaque utiliser, et dans quel ordre… !
Voilà, c’est pigé. Oh, et n’hésites pas à revenir quand tu as la moindre question !
I am sure that you already know that there are
3 types of Attacks - Weak, Strong and Fierce – each of which uses up a
different amount of Action Points.
The Firce Attack ( X button ) uses up 3 points in a single blow. Hence, if you have only 3 Attack Points, all will be used up in one Fierce Attack.
The Weak Attack ( D button ) will use up 1 point per blow. So, with 3 Attack Points, you can attack the same enemy 3 times in rapid succession.
The Strong Attack ( &127; button ) uses up 2 points per blow. So, if you’ve got 3 Attack points, you can combine one Strong attack with one Weak Attack to total 3 points.
It is possible to continually press the X button to keep obliterating enemies in one Fierce blow, but you may find out that relying on this will have repercussions later.

Okay, laisse moi donc t’expliquer quelques trucs sur l’attaque.
Je suis sûr que tu sais déjà, qu’il y a trois sortes d’Attaques – Faibles, Fortes, et Féroces – chacune d’elle utilisant sa propre quantité de Points Action.
L’Attaque Féroce ( bouton X ) utilises 3 points pour un simple coup. Ainsi, so tu n’as que trois points Attaques, ils seront consommé d’un seul coup Féroce.
L’attaque Faible ( bouton D ) utilise 1 point par attaque. Donc, avec 3 points attaques, tu pourras attaquer l’ennemi trois fois de suite rapidement.
L’attaque Forte ( bouton &127; ) utilise deux points par coup. Alors, avec trois points attaques, tu pourras combiner une attaque forte et faible pour totaliser un ensemble de 3 point.
C’est possible de tuer ton ennemi en appuyant toujours sur le bouton X, mais tu t’apercevras qu’utiliser cette tactique aura des répercussion pour plus tard.

Action points which don’t get used are stored in an ‘AP Counter’. When this AP Counter stores up a certain amount of points, you will become able to use ‘Combos’.
‘Combos’ are rapid series of Deathblows let loose all at one time, and they tend to be rather ferocious. Any foe on the receiving end of a ‘Combo’ will likely die.
At low experience levels, you probably won’t be able to do much ‘Combo’ damage.

5) Ooooh l’option ‘Combo’, hein ? Je ne m’attendais pas à ce que tu me le demandes ! Mais bon, laisse moi de donner l’explication de l’art du ‘Combo’.
Quant tu attaques, il y certaines fois où tu n’utilises pas tous tes Points Actions.
Par exemple, lorsque tu tues un ennemi en utilisant une partie des tes Points actions, ou alors lorsque tu décides d’annuler ton coup en cours d’attaque.
Ces Points Actions sont alors stockés dans la ‘Barre AP’. Lorsque cette ‘Barre AP’ s’est remplie d’une certaines quantités de AP, tu peux affectuer des ‘Combos’.
Les ‘Combos’ sont une rapide série de coups mortels lâchés en une fois, ils sont plutôt meurtriers. Un ennemi recevant un ‘Combo’ en fin d’attaque mourra pour sûr.
Bien sûr à un niveau d’expérience bas, tu ne pourras probablement pas occasionner tant de dommages.
Mais, avec le temps, tu pourras effectuer des super ‘Combos’ dévastateurs !
